Mixture of Magnesium Peroxide

Mixture of Magnesium Peroxide is a fine, odorless and tasteless, white powder containing approximately 35% magnesium peroxide. The balance consists primarily of magnesium oxide.

Magnesium Peroxide is one of the most temperature stable inorganic peroxides. When kept dry at 20°C, there is negligible loss in available oxygen, even after many months. The product is only slightly water-soluble. It is not hygroscopic, but decomposes slowly in contact with atmospheric moisture, generating oxygen. Decomposition occurs in a similar way when the product is suspended in water.

Applications include:

• accelerate natural attenuation of contaminated soils
• environmental In-Situ remediation/bioremediation
• use in grease traps to help reduce sulfide-based odors
• oxygenating the lower parts of artificial or natural lakes
• use as a source of oxygen in agricultural, horticultural and forestry applications

Calcium Peroxide

A fine, very pale yellow, odorless powder, conforms to the requirements of the United States Food Chemicals Codex (FCC) for calcium peroxide, and is certified as Kosher. Applications include:

• oxygenating the lower levels of lakes or effluent ponds
• bioremediation of contaminated soils
• source of oxygen in agricultural, horticultural and forestry applications
